ALcontrol Laboratories provide environmental and food testing and are a international company. Leafish designed, developed and support a new multi-lingual Drupal 6 site intended to replace several separate, region-specific sites. The site's conversion to a Drupal base is the first step in ALcontrol's new "live on the web" philosophy.

During development emphasis was placed on getting a working framework up and running in order for ALcontrol staff to begin the not insubtantial task of planning, writing, importing and translating content. The site structure was planned and defined quickly and is a representation of the company's business structure. Various users are responsible for each business unit and its content (pages, news, events and job vacancies).

Content was wiki'fied - a framework implemented by ourselves and the site admin staff at ALcontrol, then various members of staff were encouraged to provide their own pages and content for review, publication and translation by multi-lingual staff from the various business units or departments.
